I've got a Quintana Roo CD0.1 and would like to have a Bento Box.  Cables enter the top tube just behind the head tube so a Bento Box there would likely not work well and interfere with the cables.  Maybe something on the aerobars would work.  Any suggestions?

I seem to recall seeing bags like bento boxes that hang between the aero bars, as long as you don't have a water bottle there.

But I'd also think a regular bento box would work, as long as you don't snug the velcro too tight it shouldn't interfere with the cables.

My bike (Blue Triad) has similar cable routing. At my last race I saw two people that had bento boxes with one of the velcro's attached to those three cables, and it seemed quite secure. I think I might get one to test that out - they don't cost all that much, and I could always use it on my road bike if it didn't work out.

Thanks for the replies.  I think I'll look into the in front of the seat post arrangement.  Since I've had my bike one about 3 weeks I've noticed a few things 1) the small frame and deep down tube leave little room for water bottles and 2) the rear brake has just a touch of cable binding.  I don't want to exacerbate the binding as I may need to use that brake someday.

I had this same problem with my 51cm Cervelo Soloist.  The frame was so compact, that a standard bottle cage would not allow me to get a bottle in or out.  I had no choice but to switch to a "side-loading" bottle cage from Arundel...worked perfectly.  As for a bento box...my cables come into my top tube right behind the headtube also.  I use a RavX bento box mounted to the head tube and have never had a cable binding issue.  I simply run the straps underneath (not over) the cables.
