Subject: Battle at Fort DeSoto Tri Completed ... my first

All:

I had a great morning and completed my first Triathlon.  Multi Race did a good job organizing and it seemed pretty well run.  My overall time was 1:15:77
Swim: 7.79
Bike 30.28
Run 30.54

I'm pretty pleased with my overall performance but there are clearly some areas where I can improve.  Althouh, I actually finished 4th in the Clyde category and a bit better than 50 percentile in the overall race.

I've got two races schedule coming up and will try to apply some of the lessons I learned this race. 

Thanks for all the help and encouragement.

Way to go get some Bruce.  I am 4 weeks out from my first.  I was told the hardest part is getting to the starting line.  You got to the starting line and kicked across the finish.  Great job.
