Of course, you are all forgetting the team with the undisputted best linebacking corps, best receiving corps., one of the(if not) best defenses and one of the favorites to win it all in '05.......not to mention that they are coming from a conference with not one, or even two, but THREE legitimate contenders for the National Title...Iowa, Michigan, and of course......

GO BLUE!!!

Although I'm in Connecticut I still have season tickets to watch MICHIGAN at the Big House. With Notre Dame and tOSU at home this year I might have to go back twice!

Please pardon my selective editing of your post In a nod to to full disclosure it used to read "go buckeyes".

Only problem is....that was last years ratings :P

This year I see the Big Ten being on the top of that list.

If they can keep their program clean.  Not long ago you had a running back that showed how dirty your programs players are.  Remember him, Maurice "I had a 50 Carat Diamond in my car" Clarett.

GO MARYLAND!!!!!!!!

Maryland we're all behind you,
Raise high the black and gold.
For there is nothing half so glorious,
As to see our team victorious.
We've got the steam boys,
We've got the team boys,
So keep on fighting, don't give in!
M-A-R-Y-L-A-N-D (yell)
Maryland will win!

It's not a matter of keeping your team clean, its a matter of who gets caught. I think just about every team in the NCAA-IA has players who are breaking one NCAA violation or another. In Clarett's case, he had a temper tantrum when he did not get everything he wanted and tried to get OSU in as much trouble as possible(burn in hell clarett). I think it is quite amazing that with all of the scrutiny placed on OSU after that incident and the basketball team incident that more violations were not found. If you were to put a team like...say...Florida State under that kind of scrutiny, the outcome could have been quite different...like what happened to 'bama during the 90's.

Unfortunately the coach and school can only do so much from keeping its own players from getting corrupted....and they can only do so much in detecting who is going to be a problem during recruiting. The best they can do is try to influence them with threats of suspension from games and extra long workouts.
