It depends on 2 things...where in Atlanta you're coming from and how fast you want to drive.  I would say that typically it's about 2.0- 2.5 hours.

I second that. Augusta gets a bad rap, but I love this place (and I lived in Atlanta for something like 15 years). We have great riding, we have Nacho Mama's (and Barberitos), and we have some great bars. So come on over, bring your friends, and maybe even plan to go out at night afterwards (I've got this friend that bartends at this really cool pub downtown...she makes the best Irish Car Bomb ever!).
