Run
Comments: This was a B race, and mostly a chance to do my first 10K and earn some stuffing, so I didn't expect too much or train too seriously. I was hoping to run it under 10 min miles, so I started out the first mile at abou 10:30. I was feeling pretty good, so I increased the pace to 9:30 for the next 2 miles, and then around 9s for the last couple miles.I passed a lot of people! What would you do differently?: I should do more speedwork if I want to go faster, but I was pretty happy with under an hour. Post race
Warm down: Walking around What limited your ability to perform faster: training Event comments: They are still trying to piece together the times! So mine is estimated from my Garmin time, adding a few seconds since I started it when I crossed the starting line, not when the gun went off. Last updated: 2010-10-26 12:00 AM

Had Indian food the night before the race- probably not the best idea! But it did taste good :). Got up at about 7, at cereal and a banana, and had coffee. Drove to the race.
