running2far - 2011-05-23 2:27 PM everybody survive the bike/rain? I was riding the brakes on the last two descents into the resort....it was starting to get slick. I'm glad the rain held off for most of the starters to get underway....

 

same here.  rode the brakes the whole way down the last 2 big descents. No way I'm crashing the last 2 miles.  Then I get buzzed by someone pedaling and in aero possibly going 40+ mph.

I thought it was a great race!  The rain felt great on the run.  It was also nice for the sun to start shining for the post race party.
