ive got one for you that nobody thinks about until it happens. make sure the insoles of your running shoes are glued in place. if not, you'll come flying in from the first 5k, slip your shoes off and the insoles will bunch up. when you come in from the bike you'll spend the better part of a minute trying to get them back into the correct position in your shoes. if they're not removable insoles, you come in from the first 5k, slip them off, go ride for a bit, come in and slide them back on with no problems.

What to wear? Tri suit, tri shorts with a running shirt, running shorts and shirt, will it be cold enough to go tights and a jacket?

Ft Desoto, great place for events
Bananas were terrible though not ripe.  The creap puffs and chocolate cookies made up for that :D
