Comments: went out WAAAYYY too fast! :) Each mile got a bit slower, which is arse backwards, but thats why I ran the race...I need to learn to pace myself, and push at the finish. I did use some of my positive mantra stuff during this run (wind is my favorite training partner...I am getting stronger!) but that still needs lots of work! I was shooting for 8:00 mm pace and was pretty short. The course was a tiny bit long and my garmin pace was 8:07's for the run. What would you do differently?: I need to have a better plan. Know my pace for mile one, etc. Work on a more powerful mantra. Keep pushing myself. I did keep my hr in threshold pretty much the whole run, which was good. I'll get there!  Post race
Warm down: ran a tad to get my hr down, then cheered in Nell, Steve's dad and brother in law and a group of Nells friends that the run was a fundraiser for. What limited your ability to perform faster: Basically not knowing how to race and my limits. I'm working on both those things this year! Last updated: 2011-02-14 12:00 AM

ate a pb & j bagel, coffee and some IM perform. It was 40 drive and I had to go early to get registered, and find the location. Plenty of time to digest. :)
warmed up with Steve and did about a .25 mile run with one pick up at the end.
