Pre-race routine:

Up to race early. Was nice at my house the closer with I got to race the worse the weather got. At site it was snowing this wet snow and blowing like 10mph.
Event warmup:

Tried to figure out where and when to start since we were starting thirty minutes early then the main pack.

Comments:

I was the first runner around the course. The cop looked at me funny when i came up to intersections. Must be I don't look like a runner that could be up front. I was in first place for 7 minutes until the the fast guys came in.

Hard to understand how the first guy across the line isn't first overall when a wave start (if you had one) would show who started first and who made up speed....
