Comments: Walked the early hills to save energy for the end, but it never got any easyer. Starting near the end, some of the down hills were very icy but managed to not fall. Had to stop and take a layer of socks off because the boots were rubbing my ankles, think is was caused from too much waling. What would you do differently?: Should have carried food with me. I thought the food stations would have more, but they just had bananas, oranges and energy drink so started to get a little hungary late in the race. If I do it again I will make sure I am a better skier first. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: Not a good skier. Last updated: 2010-11-29 12:00 AM

Had to take the bus from Hayward @ 6am, my wave didn't do off until 9:55 so I had a long wait. At least I was inside and warm and got to talk to some people.
