Comments:

Choppy start at the creek mouth, very very strong currents so the swim up wasn't too bad and I was with the back of the pack so I was happy about my swim, if not comfortable in the water.
After the turn I lost them. The currents were so strong and I don't think I picked the path of least resistance. At one stage I felt like I was swimming in the same spot for ages! I had to switch up to breaststroke to sight a few times which also disrupted things.
What would you do differently?:

I need to swim more, and after this weekend I could do with more OWS practices, not just lakes, but with waves too.

I went at the pace I planned to but probably should have gone even harder. Looking at other times, when I consider myself a decent cyclist, there are some fast women in my AG and I should be able to knock a few minutes off my time.

Corner a bit faster, ride faster!
