Subject: Wedding shower gift ideas?
My aunt is getting married (finally!) and they are having a shower being thrown for them this weekend. They are both really big into cycling and I wanted to get something cute/silly for them that revolves around that. Anyone have any ideas on what I could get them?

My fiance and I are both big into cycling and you know what we want...a stand up paddle board.  Probably a little pricy for one person to buy for a wedding shower...but one can dream, right?  (I know, I know...has nothing to do with cycling.  But it would be awesome!)

If you're looking for something cute/silly...what about custom bike jerseys?  Or a basket full of body glide (that may be more appropriate for the bachelorette party though).

I second the matching jersey idea.  Check out ecyclingstore.com.  They've got hundreds (literally) of jerseys from cool to funny to just plain weird.  I like the Vegas themed one, as well as the one with the huge Jolly Roger on the front.

We have a set of cycling pint glasses that are a big hit when our cycling friends come over.

 

I hate to get the reputation of the etsy cheerleader here, but there really are a lot of super cute cycling-themed items on etsy. And a lot of them are customizable.

Wedding shower, not baby shower.  One does not necessarily lead to the other. 

I love those Etsy towels!  

Do they have a good storage rack for their bikes?

A bike storage rack is a great idea! Pat and I have a nice stand-up one that leans against the wall and holds our trusty steads. We couldn't get the kind that wedge into the ceiling because our ceilings are unreasonably tall, and it helps keep our place neat. Wasn't terribly expensive either, we got it at REI.

What about a gift cert to their bike shop/ gear shopping spot of preference?
