Other than the ocean, not many that i know of.  I swim in the river in Conway by the marina.  Tidal river, flows one direction this week another next week.

Is that a better area to swim than the Ocean?  How far is it from Ocean Lakes Campground?

I'm fairly new to the tri scene.  Haven't found a local fresh water lake that i am comfortable swimming in.  Not comfortable with the river either, but need the ows.  Conway is about 15 miles inland down 544.  If you come to Conway on 544, stay on 501 business.  That will take you downtown.  As you go over the bridge take an immediate right.  That will take you under the bridge.  You can park there.  Beside the old warehouse, there is an access point that is used by a kayak tour company.  If you come to Conway, let me know which day and I'll see if I can rearrange my schedule and swim with you.  I'm slow.

If you find another fresh water swim area, let me know.  I just don't know about them.
