Comments:

Narrow start for the number of competitors, had to fight for space for first half mile. Starting gradual incline pretty quick. GPS didn't work at first but kicked in later. Would have like to been a little faster but the crowd and climb didn't make that doable today. Mile 2 was toughest climb till u got to the turn, then it got much better. Pushed it in mile 3 and took 5 seconds off last race which was easier course and no crowd.

What would you do differently?:

Maybe try to start a little harder, but pretty happy with splits and run. Ankle was great till I stopped

Course:	beautiful course through magnolia springs, mostly a gradual climb all the way out and decline on the way back. Large part of the run was under a canopy of oaks.
