So, there's a good chance I'll be living somewhere in the lower DE area.

I have a job oportunity in Salisbury MD.

I know the ocean is right there but was wondering if there is a lake in that area that I can do open water swims?

Also, any bike trails? Running trails?

I'm trying to find my location to live and I may as well try to make training as convenient as possible.

Not sure about southern DE, but we have a Tri club in Dover that uses a local lake for open water swimming.

Btlovin,

I will be coming to Dover this Aug (family is already there).  I've already signed up for the Bear Sprint Tri on the 14th of Aug.  How active are you guys?  This will be my first tri, and I plan on being in the area for a long time.

Thanks

Patrick

Patrick,

We're a very active club.  And we have a Level II USAT certified coach on our team Smile.  We usually have 1 team workout a week (swim, bike, run, brick, etc) and then we have Coach-led workouts several times a week through Bricks Multisport (training facility).  I think our team is over 50 strong, with a core group for about 15-20 that train regularly together in Dover.

You can find more info on either the Bricks Multisport site or Team Bricks site below.
