Subject: OWS opportunities in Jacksonville, FL

Hello all,

I will be spending the weekend of April 29 - 30 in Jacksonville and was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for an OWS. I haven't had a chance to try my new wetsuit (I live in east TN) and would like to, if possible, depending on ocean conditions. This will be my first ocean swim. Thanks in advance for any info.

It's getting a little bit warm for wetsuits, but you'll be okay if you don't overheat easily.

I don't have a lot of experience in Jacksonville, but I did an Xterra race there at Atlantic Beach. It was a very nice place to swim. Lifeguards on duty, too.
