Hey gang,

For you Beantown area folks...

I am going to be at BU for about three weeks in June (during the week) for a work related training. While I am up there I am looking to get in some decent 20 - 35 mile rides during the week. SOme in the morning...some in the afternoon. Commuting to and from BU may be an issue so I am looking for advice on decent rides in and out of the city. Nice route out of the city to get to less traveled roads?

Thoughts??

Vin

Check out Massbike.org for routes in the city and some paths suggested by them.

In the weekend you might want to try out a long ride from the city to Walden pond area (MapMy Ride), or this I put here on BT.    ?

crw.org has a HUGE repository of cue sheets of various length rides.

Landry's is across the street from BU on Comm ave and they are awesome and will help hook you up with other riders....

when I lived there there was a tuesday night shop ride that is now run by Green Velo and may have switched nights.

Try to get out west to South Natick! It is some of the prettiest riding and you can go through bird sanctuary areas where there are very few cars!

I second CRW.org. One of the best resources for local cyclists. Love it.
