Subject: GSC 10 Cadence Sensor

I have been having problems with my cadence sensor eating batteries.  I finally decided to replace it.  I removed the old sensor and put on the new one (left the same magnets).  I pressed the Reset key to pair it with my Forerunner 305.  The red light flashes for cadence.  I think that the green light is flashing for speed (that one is harder for me to see).  The Forerunner is not getting anything.

In the Forerunner, I went to bike profiles, selected the profile for this bike, and turned off the has a sensor and then turned it back on.  Still nothing on the FR.  Is it still trying to talk to the old/broken sensor?

EDIT:  Got it!  General -> Accessories -> Cadence Sensor -> Restart Scan (had to do this a few times but now they are talking

Sounds like you've got it figured out.  I have cadence sensors on both of my bikes (using one 305) and I have to do the reset/restart scan when I switch between the two.

Are you using different profiles for each bike?  The FR305 allows three.
