Subject: cheep shirt to wear for tri !

any ideas?

ive herd bike jersey--more time in transition

ive herd under armour--wear during swim

im new so im not sure what the best is

well if you can't get a tri-top, then personally I would wear a thin generic under-armour type shirt.  Check walmart's Starter-brand offerings, should be able to find something there thats reasonably comfortably under your wetsuit, on the run, and tight enough to be aero for the bike.

I guess it's about cheap shirts.

But since it's about cheep shirts and something herd, maybe this race is on a farm.

You could consider no shirt at all. Wear sunscreen, and get a race belt for your run number. 

(I'm assuming you're male from your name but if your a lady wear a sports bra (duh). )

I've done this before realizing I should ALWAYS wear my wetsuit.

my first race is a sprint and i feel comfortable doing the distance with out the suit...plus transition will be faster with out it....im new so any advise is good adsvice

You should be able to get out of your wetsuit in 5 to 10 seconds.
You will be faster in the race wearing the wetsuit if the swim is more than about 200 yards/meters.

x2 on this ... if you want speed, then practicepracticepractice getting out of it.

Besides, it's your first race--it's for having FUN and finishing, and to get valuable experience. Since it's almost always better to wear a wetsuit ... get the experience in a race.

Yes, my advice is HAVE FUN you only get one first.

x2 also on sierratradingpost.com for cheap tri tops. Clearance on trisports.com, sportsbasement.com, and swimoutlet.com can be great too.

Or a $10 stretchie/clearance from your local Target, -mart store, or sports store.
