Boardwalk is already showing booked.

Any other suggestions for a condo close to start and finish?

You can find boardwalk condos on vrbo.com, sunbird condos are an easy walk on the other side of boardwalk hotel. Check direct and vrbo for them as well. Any condos around there on s. Thomas are relatively easy from what I saw when I drove around checking them out.

I'm in #6 for me, assuming I finish IMMT in August. A little nervous about an IM 2 months after finishing one, but what the heck, no hills!

I'm in for IM #1 next year

How does one edit there registration? Example: I was told to put short answers (NA) to questions to insure getting in. How would I go back and correctly answer the question? Or do I need to email IronmanFlorida.com and admit I'm a stooge?

I raced yesterday and stayed in Shores of Panama, about .5 mi from transition.
I walked there for check in, bike chech in and race morning.Nice 2 bedroom with bunk room and full kitchen overlooking the beach.
I loved the race and signed up again for 2013 and I will book the same condo for next year.

I finished in 11:53. This was number 2. Great swim and bike. I little gi issues toward the end of the bike. Run felt really good until mile 14. Got real nauseous. Took care of that in someone's yard and felt a lot better after that. Good luck to all the ones who signed up for next years. Had a great time at the group swim on Saturday.

Stayed at Shores of Panama, would stay here again if doing this next year. Very comfortable, and reasonably priced. Went through bookthatcondo.com

It was great to meet some of you guys at the BT practice swims, and to race with you.

I finished at 13:31, a 45 min PR for me, and 9th in AG.  Whoo Hoo!  I only have to cut two HOURS off my time to Kona Qualify.

On Saturday it seemed like a good idea to sign up for next year so that's what I did.  Today, I'm questioning that decision.  Just like most of the other athletes, I'm limping around.  Sore as all get out, but really enjoyed the race.  I booked a massage for today which gave me a reason to get out of bed.  Saw the awards.  It was comforting to see that even the top pros were limping a little.  I suppose that's just part of the Iron Man experience.

Safe travels home everyone.

I'm still looking for that picture from the BT swim.  Who was going to post that?

I've stayed at Shores of Panama two years now and recommend it.  First year I stayed at the next condo complex down the beach (away from the Boardwalk)  It's only another tenth of a mile or so farther, but makes a difference.  Condo there was very nice and very resonably priced.  I've had one excellent condo at Shores, and this year's is good but not excellent.  The access to Shores is very good, condos are pretty nice, and distance to venue at 1/2 mile is also pretty good.

Sent you a pm. We stayed at gulfcrest and it was perfect. Very nice unit, run course went by driveway 3x then a short walk (.7 on road with kids and stroller) to finish. Pools, hot tubs, gorgeous views and good value.

So excited! I did it. Not fast but steady at 15:56 : meeting my goal of under 16 hours Felt pretty good once I got out of the water. Stomach reset on second lap after taking in a huge gulp of seawater - but better out then in and started the bike actually hungry and ready to go!Mentally was up and positive whole day and stuck to my plan. Family enjoyed the race and people and thought the volunteers everywhere where amazing. Thank you!Congrats everyone!!

Question, does anyone know if is there any way to capture or review your finish video from the online streaming?

Not sure if you capture it but on the Ironman Florida website if you go to coverage you can scroll thru the finish line video and see yourself finish.

It was a great race and i got to meet a couple of you. Nothing about my race went as planned ( somethings went worse but others were better!) so I just rolled with the punches and still hit my  finish  goal 11:43!

Oh and I am still here looking out over the beach and the water is flat like a pool today.... arg
