Swim
Comments: Swim was good. Started in the back and outside. Took me a few minutes to get into a groove but once I did, caught up to the pack a felt good. Transition 1
Comments: Took my time in transition. Wanted to make sure I got everything I needed. Fumbled with my watch a little. What would you do differently?: Transition like I am trying to win something. Bike
Comments: Bike was hilly. Kept a good pace on the downhills and flatter areas but had some trouble on the hills because I didn't want to blow my legs out for the run. What would you do differently?: Hammer the hills. Transition 2
Comments: T2 was ok. Got my bike shoes and helmet off quickly. What would you do differently?: Go faster Run
Comments: The run was hilly. I had a decent time taking it a little slow and trying to enjoy the race chatting with other racers. Between mile 2 and 3, I was at the "never do this again" stage but snapped out of it after a good cold drink and soaking at the aid station. What would you do differently?: not much. train to be faster Post race
Warm down: ate 2 big cookies. What limited your ability to perform faster: overall fitness and tolerance for pain. Last updated: 2011-07-06 12:00 AM

Got there at the crack of dawn. Transition opened at5:30am. Found a spot for my bike and set up my transition area. Wandered a little bit, went and got marked, walked the swim out into transition, then from my rack to the run out.
10 minute run, then went and did a short swim.
