Bike course is tough. A lot of short steep climbs.
We able to ride a lot faster this year than last year.

Run course starts very fast.
Slight downhill for the first 2.5 miles.
I always seem to go out way too fast on this course.
Then there are two very hard hills later in the course
1st is a downright wall at about 3/3.5 miles.
Then one final hill just before the finish line at about 5.5 miles.

Dramatic improvement on my run from last year.I did get a side stich just after a big downhill about 4.5 miles into the run. That lasted about a 1/2 mile until I hit the aid station, bit of water and gatoraid & the stich cleared up. Able to run up the final hill.

Event comments:

Rev 3 puts on a great race.
I've never done a WTC race, so I can't compare but Rev3 Quassy is a first class race all around.
Great Race for families, with the Little Rev Family Adventure Race and the race being at a amusement park (Sutiable for little kids, not so much teenagers)
