A big thank you to all that raced with us this past weekend! Let us know what you thought so we can take it into consideration for next year. Hope everyone had as much fun as we did!

One thing that would put this race over the top would be to make the finish line the 50 yard line inside the horseshoe. Well I can dream can't I? ...... Adam

3 completely different bags, I had to keep checking the Hammer bags to makes sure I was leaving the right one. And ice at the aid stations

Otherwise, I really enjoyed the race.

I left a detailed review of the Giant Eagle Ohio Women's Triathlon for the Cure in my race report if you want to read it. I think you all did a great job and it was an unforgettable first event for me. A few things I would suggest:

1. Hold an awards ceremony for this event. The supportive, encouraging atmosphere means that participants want to see who won and cheer for them, rather than just grub and go.

2. Have some older/more experienced volunteers manning critical areas like transition and registration.

3. Include separate information about the Saturday race in the event guide. You all also forgot to include a map of our course in the printed race guide, even though it was in the one that got emailed.

4. Check the distances... Gmaps says they're significantly different than 7 and 2 miles.

Just posted my race report - I did the tri for the cure and thought it was run very well!  I had a lot of fun.  My only issue is I'm not sure how accurate the distances were.  Thanks!
