Kudos to the county, race director and volunteers.  It's always nice to hear "thanks for coming out" from a volunteer.  I heard it several times yesterday.  I try to remember to say "thanks for volunteering".   Don't forget the sheriff's dept. folks too.   They're the ones that keep us out of the hospital!  Lots of fun.

great meeting you treadster! glad you got to kick my butt. also great to hang with alltom1 and lisaB see so many of the cool BT kids at the race. I don't know why long course has to be so alluring because these races are so much more darn fun. plus you are home for lunch. I hope this video hammer took is watchable.

Just out of curiosity, did anybody else think the swim was brutal?  I thought the first wave was pretty packed for the water space available...

After the race me and several others commented about the continous kicking, goggle-nocking and even grabbing, yup, grabbing during the swim portion...  Enybody else experienced any of this?

Other than that I thought it was a great race!  Solid bike course and beautiful run course!!

I didn't think the swim was any worse then any of the other events. Got grabbed, kicked and elbowed few times within the first 100 meters but after that it thinned out so I couldn't complain about it.

glad you got to kick my butt.

Dude you beat me by over 5 minutes.  We weren't even in the same zip-code.  I want a rematch at Tugaloo.
