Other than a superfood shake that I take everyday (contains over 70 ingredients like camu camu, goji berry, maca root, chia, flax, etc etc etc) I eat whole foods as unprocessed as possible.  I drink the shake because it less expensive than if I bought all the ingredients individually at whole foods.  And it's delicious!

I don't even take a "recovery drink" anymore.  I find I don't need it because my nutrition is so good.  I make my gels homemade out of medjool dates ("nature's gel"), agave nectar... and a few other things.  I am not a fan of processed foods at all, including most sports supplements.

I do not use supplements of any sort either......

I have, however, started juicing twice a day. I consider this kind of a "living" green supplement to my regular diet. I will juice up a combo of swiss chard, beet greens, carrot, cucumber broccoli stems and a pear or green apple. Yummy!!

I also rely on food for nutrition and don't take supplements.

However, many would argue that our food has less nutrition than it used to. Dr. Weil supports "natural" eating but also sells supplements out the wazoo.

if you eat a balanced diet there is no need for multivitamins!

Others mentioned it, but a vitamin D supplement is a good idea for those of us living in sun-challenged areas.

Centrum Silver, based on the direction of my cardiologist.  I take Coumadin (Warfarin) due to my mechanical heart valve and Centrum Silver has a relatively low % of vitamin K, which counters the anti-coagulation effect of the Coumadin.

Supplements?  LOTS of them!!!!

2 scoops ON whey post workout.  I make sure it's a higher quality protein without a lot of sugars.

Vitamins including:

Multi

2 fish oil per day

Green Tea

Glucosamine Sulfate, 1 in morning, 1 at night

5 Vit C spread out through the day

Nightime I take 4000 or so MG of Arginine, 1 zinc, 2 magnesium, 1 B6, 

Have taken some Creatine in cycles which has helped with leg cramps and other things

Watch diet. I eat egg whites, oats, flax seed, fish, chicken, yogurt, berries, apples, bananas, spinach, brocolli and so on and try to be strict.  Little to no red meat.

whey protein powder with organic skim milk after a workout (my belly is usually not happy with real food for about an hour, but i know i need to eat something)
