max - 2005-09-17 10:21 PM LOL...I could show you a 57 year old guy in a speedo, but the world's not ready for that yet!

Thank you God!

Every sport I've ever been involved in has been ALL about Spandex. You build a love/hate relationship. Take a hint at what my pledge name was. I've been known to show up IN CLASS in my bike jersey and padded bike shorts. I am NOT a svelt chick at all, by any stretch of the imagination. I just keep saying to myself, "yeah, I may be lumpy in my tri shorts now, but you're sitting there on your ass eating potato chips."

The worst was big swim meets, when I had to walk out in front of this HUGE crowd of people in bleechers in nothing but my (2 sizes too small) racing suit, and stand in the middle lane. Keep in mind this is Tracey 30+ lbs heavier and no where near my current muscle tone. You get used to it, really you do.

Take the plunge, embrace the spandex. Do what Cosmo says...in order to get more comfortable with yourself naked, SPEND TIME NAKED. In this case, SPEND TIME IN SPANDEX.
