Subject: RE: 1st year done, winter plans? Here's what works for me... I always take some time off after the season ends and do what I feel like when I feel like it. Some years that turns out to be a trainer ride once a week, somethings I get one every single day... no matter, what I do need to have some time off the structured training to allow me to get the things done that I have neglected during the season, get mentally and physically read for the winter training season etc. This year, it will be at least 2 months, maybe as long as 2.5..
Also, finding other sports during the winter season helps me getting ready and excited about the next tri season. Personally, we do snow shoe racing, XC skiing and downhill skiing. Plus the odd winter runs of course. |
