Overall Rank = 19/197
Age Group = 30-34
Age Group Rank = 6/40
Pre-race routine:

A little different routine today. I stayed in Greenville for the race, so I had a 25mile drive this morning. Even with the drive, there was plenty of time to get to T2 and take the shuttle to T1.
Event warmup:

None...I put on my wetsuit, and visited the porta-potties.
Swim
  • 34m 19s
  • 1931 meters
  • 01m 47s / 100 meters
Comments:

The lake was nice, the temperature was perfect.
The course had plenty of sighting buoys and was easy to navigate.
What would you do differently?:

This was faster than the half in Cedar Point last month, so other than still train more to improve my swim, nothing I would have changed today.
Transition 1
  • 03m 4s
Comments:

This was a slow T1 due to the two transition race. I had to take time to put my wetsuit in a bag, and with it being in the mid-50's and windy at the start I also took the time to put on arm warmers.
What would you do differently?:

I'm adding transition practice to my winter training schedule
Bike
  • 2h 42m 52s
  • 56 miles
  • 20.63 mile/hr
Comments:

Challenging course, but lots of fun!
Transition 2
  • 01m 46s
Comments:

I had to make a quick pitstop on the way out of T1, witch added 30ish seconds to my time.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing
Run
  • 1h 32m 17s
  • 13.1 miles
  • 07m 02s  min/mile
Comments:

I negative split the run again, so I was fairly happy with this, but would have liked to come in under 1hr 30mins.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked around and tried to take on some nutrition.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Stomach shutdown on the end of the bike may have limited my run performance. The hills/wind on the bike made for a difficult course, which I could handle, but I didn't have much left in the last few miles of the bike.

Event comments:

Another great Rev3 Race. This was the innagural year for Rev3 Anderson, and I would definitely go back.

I used no nutrition on this course other than 1 cup of gatorade and a couple 1/2 cups of coke. My stomach was pretty shut down coming off the bike, and I couldn't eat anything. I wasn't really even digesting water as my stomach started to slosh in the closing miles. While I didn't really cramp during the race, I would think the stomach issues limited my performance.
Course: A couple loops and an out and back. Rolling course with a few decent hills.
