OK Renee-- I think it's time for another "official" team roster out there, so we know who's going to be paying homage in January!

Cold only counts if your hair freezes during the walk  from the pool to you car.

I'll update the roster end of work day today. I will be out-of-pocket until a week from now (Tuesday) and do another update in a week.

For those who will ask... YES you can still sign up. You have until end of day November 30 to sign up.

I'm brand new, but I'll join in on this. I'm from Oklahoma so I'm either an orphan or a texan, whoever will take me.

I'm just now starting up swimming, so I'll have pretty low goals.

I've only been swimming (competitively) since June, so my goals will be low too. But you have to start somewhere right? I'm pledging 8000 meters (since the pool at my gym is 25m, not 25yards, long). So that's what, 8800 yards I guess? 1 yard = 1.1 meters right?

You pledge the distance you think you will swim.  If I am correct from the last swim challange, it doesent matter if it in yards or meters, the results are based on the  per cent of you pledge.

By the way, the The Florida Force has no strenght in the pool or on the ice against TEAM CANADA.

Now that being said, great job in the pool.

Yes, I know it's a percentage. I was just trying to equate my pledge with everyone elses, since everyone's pledging in yards. It was really more for my own understanding really. Remember, I'm new at this!

And...uhhhhh...well I HOPE we (Florida Force) don't have any strength on the ice...cuz if there is any ice in Florida I'm moving to the equator! I HATE cold weather!

Well, of course you do!

How about Carrie in Iowa (CLinIA)? Iowa is like Wisconsin, but different. And she's not afraid to kick it up in the pool in the winter.

Okay, I heard that, finally.

Put me down for 20,000 big ones. I will be on any team but Texas.
