Run
Comments: I was about a minute slower on this run than my last 5K. I started out way to fast (8 min mile) and didn't realize there were as many hills on the course so when I got to them, they just killed me. My last two miles were approx. 10 min/mile. I passed a bunch of people, but also got passed my a few. Overall, not a great performance. I felt good at the end, but probably should have looked at the course ahead of time. At least it gives me some knowledge of were I'm at right now. I know between now and the 1/2 mary in Feb, I'll get much better. What would you do differently?: Pace my self better. Post race
Warm down: Walked around a bit, had a mini-Clif bar What limited your ability to perform faster: Started to fast, lack of training Event comments: This was a decent race. Very small community race. Seemed like neighbors out for a little jog. Only about 300 people for the 5K, couldn't stay around for the 10K so don't know how many people were in that. It was nice though, I'd do it again. It is definately a good training run with the hills. Last updated: 2005-08-07 12:00 AM

Not much of a routine. I got there way to early, got my packet and number, and then slept in my car for about an hour. Woke up about 15 minutes before the start, jogged around a bit and stretched.
