I swam a mile continuous freestyle with no rest yesterday. I have struggled for
so long and something just clicked. Tried to be SLOW and @ 46minutes accomplished that.
It felt like I could swim all day. I've had this feeling running and biking for awhile
now but never in the pool. Now just need to jack up the volume and consistency
for Chesapeakeman in Sept.

Very nice! In a pool too....sometimes the back and forth is enough to drive you to quit!

Awesome!

Did your arms feel real long like you could reach the bottom of the pool?

Nice work - I'm not sure if I'll ever get there!  1/2 hour was a big struggle this AM.  It's just so tedious....

No long arms but did take a minute to feel "normal"
after getting vertical with gravity.

Nice work.

Had a similar experience with 1500m earlier this week. My TI form felt great. i didn't want to stop! Keep up the good work!

P.S. my arms felt like watery zephyrs........

Nice work! Did you do flip turns or touch-and-go? I've been practicing flip-turns but I'm not sure if they're even useful. I suppose they could be as some of the tris are in pools.

Flipturns? Yeah right. Not even going to attempt those. I try NOT
to push off from the wall. Just enough to get going. Did another today
just to prove to myself it wasn't a fluke. I don't know what's different but I
know I like it. I used to dread the pool. Just going to keep going slow and
steady and work on my speed later.
