Subject: Body Glide
I have heard bits and pieces about Body Glide, but I have not real idea of what it is or what it does. Can someone enlighten me on the benefits of Body Glide, where I am supposed to put it, how often, for which events, etc.

Thanks,

Chance

Its a lubricant that you apply to areas the rub/chafe. I usally put it on my inner thights when running and biking and also some spots on my feet when running.

Put it anywhere you may get discomfort from either material rubbing your skin or skin rubbing skin. Some likely spots...neck, especially the back, to protect from the wetsuit rash...toes for blister prevention...between legs for friction from bike seat or legs rubbing together. It can also be used to help get a wetsuit on and off, mostly aroung the ankles and calves. I use it and like it. Easy to put on and it is very clean and not messy.

Body Glide is KY Jelly for triathletes. Speed is sex, distance is love, Body Glide keeps the parts moving.

Body glide is awesome, but it is just a little sticky. I also put it on my feet and haven't had as many blisters lately.

Body Glide is my friend, but whatever you do, don't get the stuff with sunscreen in it! It REEKS! An alternative to Body Glide that seems even slippery-er is something called "Sport Shield" by 2toms. They also make a powdered version that goes good in socks!

Spray my wetsuit arms and legs and my arms and legs with PAM, canola oil, etc. Cheaper than Body Glide and works as well for fast wetsuit removal. Also makes outside of wetsuit slippery, in case anyone wants to grab your legs in the swim!

Use Body Glide for other chafing areas already mentioned in other posts.

careful, i read some of the warranty info on different suits and nearly all of them are voided by using any thing onther than an "approved" substance like body glide.  heck QR downright says if you use anything other than body glide your warranty is voided.  now if your suit is old enough were you don't care or you are super rich than Crisco is cheaper than Pam!  lol
