Well I just signed up for my "next" Tri. The Monster Challenge in Boston. It is a sprint again. Would love to do a longer race but swim time is at a severe premium and I will not be able to increse my swimming much this year. I will take two tri's and some runs for this season. Hope to schedual a New Years day 5k to start the new year.

Joe

Hi Joe,

What is your swim distance at? Time out Productions has a lot of great sprints. My favorite is the Massachusetts TRI in Sharon - this year I think it is August 14th. Also the Timberman Sprint is supposed to be a great race. And FIRM entertainment has a ton of sprints and Du listed. Check them out if you want to get more races in.

My only tri was at 400 yds. I will be doing 1/2 mile for the monster. I would love to do more events, but my 4 year old wants to cheer me on. This causes the dilema of hotels and sitter for my son or keeping the events to less than 1 hr drive. Would love to do the Lowell tri, but I do not have the swim time to increse the stamina or skills. Thanks for the tips.
