Subject: Pawling Triathlon
Anyone ever race in the Pawling Tri? It's going to be my first triathlon. Any tips for a first timer at this race?

It's agreat race for newbies.  The bike course is straight out and back.  It's got two turns and the u-turn at the half way point.  It doesnt have any signicant climbs but it's a bunch of rollers.  Go fast on the down hills will help you up the uphills.  Wave starts are by entry order so you'd be surprised at who may come blowing by you if you're in an early wave.

I'm bib 205.

Hello,
Very newbie just starting out.. I live in Brewster and found out about the Pawling Triathlon about a week too late. I definitely want that to be my first next year.
