2. Yes, one of the symptoms of hyponatremia is bloating so by watering down a drink, you are setting yourself up for developing hyponatremia.
3. Find a sports drink that you LIKE to drink and one that has carbohydrates and sodium and you will be on your way to staying hydrated.
Please, please, please don't water down your sports drinks. Hyponatremia can be deadly. I'd rather see you try other sports drinks since there are so many on the market rather than diluting.
