I hear you.  I've been going through the same thing.  I hate it.

*hugs* I wont lie... it sucks!

I need to start getitng into some sort of routine, plan, something now but Im finding it super hard to get motivated (and no Dee I dont think a taser will help) ....

Not sure whether I need a goal or something or whether its just that its cold and rainy... or that i just seem to be tired a lot (although in theory doing more exercise would help with that!)

On the plus side the work challenge starts Thursday which is a walk at least 10,000 steps a day wear a pedometer thing... My shin splints are back (the first time I got them was the first time I had rapid weight gain on steroids so at least I know what I'm dealing with!!) but there is a conversion for cycling and swimming so...

Exercise bike etc here I come!!!!

As team captain I can't really slack off...team support etc should help that's my last day on steroids so will set myself some goals for the 12 weeks of the challenge and see how I go...

Thinking I should blog the whole thing to help me but anyone that has been sidelined by serious illness and/or high dose prednisone as its always so hard to come back from this stuff...

I think a blog is an excellent idea. It would allow you to chart your progress. On days when you're feeling frustrated, you'll be able to see how far you've come.

Or I could just start using my BT one again!

That's why it's here! Get to healing.

Hm. Cat isn't posting in her training log.

Cat! Where did you go? Did you run away to the Alps in order to get a good seat at the TdF next month?

Maybe she's living in one of those little white campers now. (I heard you have to reserve them a few months in advance.)

I wish I was in a camper.... That would be amazing and I think after the last 6 months a holiday would do me good....

But no...I did go for a little bike ride today though....

Hey Nibbs.

I turned in notice at my old job and will be starting my new job on Sept 16th.  With it comes a long commute, but also I would not be working but a few weekends a year.  The plan is to get into the habit again of working out and participating in events again on the weekends.

13 work days till I leave my old job, 24 days total.

27 days to start my new job.  Woot!

In 6 days, sometimes during the long day of racing IM WI, I'll be thinking of you, NIBBlers. Be good and Happy Labor Day (at least for us Stateside people).

GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, Deeder!

You better have that Jacob's Ladder handy to get me moving during the swim since I'm slow and hate swimming.

Forget the Jacob's Ladder. I've got the Great Whites lined up and ready to hunt.

They attack the slowest and weakest of the group. Therefore, you'd better not be anywhere near the back of the line.

Swim hard, swim fast little guppy.... Go break the sound barrier.

Good luck this weekend!

I did NOT have a great day, BUT, I did finish with some time to spare.  I'm trying to find some time to start on my RR.

Thanks, Deeder, but the Great Whites did not show.  I could've used them.
