Hello Folks, how is everyone doing today? I had a gorgeous sunrise this morning while driving over the bridge on the way to work. I am a simple man, and the simple beauty of the world makes me smile the most.

What does your training look like today? Yesterday's ride home was so much fun that I am pedaling home again today. Should be about 22 miles.

I hope everyone enjoys whatever they have on the schedule

Let's see ... hit the gym early this morning and did a Spinerval (Uphill Grind) followed by 5k on the treadmill at easy pace.  If I have some time this evening I might hit the pool for 1500m.

Running today.  On the mill even though it's a beautiful clear day outside.    Ordered a trainer for my bike the other day.   Wish that it would get here.

Hmm, my upper body is a bit sore from that 3000 yr swim yesterday.  Let's see if I can even things out in my lower body today.

At 6:17 AM in California, it was already 62 degrees with a plan high temperature of 75.  For today, I'm putting on my shorts, a t-shirt and heading out for a good hard 7 mile hike with my Labrador to break up the monotony  of my regular training routine.  Today, I just want to enjoy nature, clean air, and being surrounded by beauty.  That's my day.  Everybody else...have a wonderful day!  Be safe.

Five miles for me on the coldest day of 2011 in Florida.

I wish I were a simple man but I was never blessed with that gift. I've

thought about it and analyzed how I could become one but in the end it was far to complicated to undertake.

I'm simply simple too. It's just my life that is so complicated ...

30min swim for me today and a 10min aquajog after. May or may not tack on some cycling later.

MerYanti (the name will be explained at a later time), try not to overdo it. I believe that you may still be recovering

2,350m swim at 5 a.m. today.  Holiday family commitments will prevent much over the next 4 days.  Taking running clothes and hope to get a 6 mile and 11 mile run in there somewhere.

What a Great day.  We're in a bit of a warming trend here.  35 degrees this morning.  I just got back from a 6.2 mi. run and I only had to wear sweats and a long sleave.  Very liberating when your used to the 2-3 layers here in the winter.

I did an easy 5k on the treadmill this morning.  I've been taking it easy this month to let my achilles heal up and boy can I tell the loss in fitness in just a few weeks. doh

I'm visiting family outside Fredericton New Brunswick, and there's a new YMCA in town so I went with my husband to check it out. They were really sweet and waived the day pass fee, and the facility is fairly large and quite nice. Living in southern VT I usually have a swimming lane all to myself, but being in a city (a small one, at that) I got to finally experience swimming with 6 people to a lane. I got kicked in the head hard enough to startle me, and I swam pretty hard just because I felt the pressure to keep up in the "medium" speed lane. Can't wait to be back in quiet VT and swimming in a lonely pool that's got low chlorine.

Got in some ab work, some weights while on the bosu, and tried out this machine called "Jacob's Ladder" which was pretty challenging!

Definitely been pretty awesome temp wise around here.  I am hoping for an early/warm spring to get the water temps up early for some ows before IM CDA.

Letting my knees recover from my mess of a run yesterday...  Will probably go for a light spin on the trainer (30-60 min) tonight.

Planning on a swim today. I did 500 on Tuesday and going to try for 750 today. I haven't swam since early September, so I'm easing back slowly. Also, I have another trip to the store planned for today. This time for coffee and a bottle of wine to take to a social event. With a bum foot and crutches, these shopping trips are more of a workout than the swim.

I haven't been able to run due to PF issues.  it's been 9 days since I last pounded the pavement.  So, did another hour on the spinning bike, just like yesterday, and the day before that.

Then my coach walks into the room and I ask him when I can run.  After telling him how it really doesn't hurt much, just a little achey, he said to try out a 10 min jog on the 'mill.  So YEAH! I got to run- even if it only was for 1.25mi.

If it feels good tomorrow morning- I get to double it... although I'll probably do 3+, because I don't listen well.
