GW:108lbs 10% body fat

 

basically want to increase strength/agility/power for my first 2 months of training!

Wow a lot of us here at just over the 200 lb mark..

 

IT would be nice to finally break that barrier.. I jumped on my scale this morning just to check and I was 210.8 lbs.. I know Wed is far away and I normally don't check in before..

My all time low was 207 and I would love to get to 199 and break that milestone.

 

Keep up the hard work everyone.

I haven't been under 200 since 2006 and am working hard to get under that now. I've been bouncing between 205 and 215 for the last five years and am really tired of it. This year I'm going sub 200. I appreciate everyone's advice and encouragement.

Just found out (well, confirmed), that I have to go to Detroit Tues - Sat.  Eating on the road, hotel food, blah blah...   this is gonna be tough.  I won't be able to keep my every three hour eating schedule.  And I tend to eat poorly when traveling.

And the hits just keep on coming.  Watching and logging what I eat.  Sticking to my caloric intake plan.  Getting good cardio in, and most importantly not giving up the ship if I bust my caloric intake one day.  Gotta get back up on that horse.  One bust doesn't bust your progress.  All these numbers dropping is motivating.  Keep it up everyone.

I also am hitting the road for two weeks, I am thinking bags of apples and almonds. Protein shakes too maybe, pretty easy to bring the powder from home.

Eating often isn't too bad as long as you prepare ahead of time,  bring plenty of shake mix, healthy snacks that won't spoil easily whether it's almond, other mix, protein bars etc.

If you show up unprepared, then you will be screwed!

I just did a trip myself and the hardest part was actually getting to the gym since I got a hotel with access, but it was only open 8 am - 8:30 pm   This meant no early workouts, and getting back at 8 or later, no gym in the evening, and with the extra driving etc. in the trip, I rarely got to the hotel early. )

I didn't lose anything while gone, but I did maintain my weight and dietary habits, so can you!

Overall Goal   205

1-11   230.5 Good week, back on track to hit my overall goal!

1-18   229.5 A pound a week, I can live with that. Slow and steady, that's how I got fat, that's                           how I will get lean! I am learning to embrace the hunger.

1-25   229.5 Not a great week with eating or workouts, but I didn't gain so I will live with that. I WILL reach my goal!

Starting weight: 210.2

Goal weight: 190

January goal: 206

If I consistently lose a pound per week I will reach my goal and do it in a sustainable way.  The goal is to lose weight AND keep it off!  Lets do this!

1/11: 209.2  well I reached my lbs a week goal but I really need to work on my eating habbits.  too much snacking and drinking beer.  Hopefully I can get another lbs this week.

1/18: 208.4  Barely off of my 1 lb per week which is close enough for me!  Any weight loss is good weight loss.  I did have a great swim workout this morning so I am pumped about that.  I am also one of those that weighs daily because it keeps me motivated.  I have noticed a trend that my "lightest day" is Thursday.  My heaviest is Tuesday.  I attribute Tuesday to having Monday off from workouts and your body tends to load up and then adjusts itself when you get back to your normal schedule!

Everyone keep it up!

1/25: 206.6  I made up for not quit getting a full lbs last week by getting 1.5 lbs this week.  If I keep it up I should be down below 206 next week which is what the goal was from the beginning!  I have a wedding to go to this weekend so hopefully I don't drink/eat too much there.

better late than never. I thought I did well through the holidays and my anniversary but apparently not weighed myself a couple weeks ago and I have been hovering around 189-190. I want to get to 175- 180. I am hoping to get started with eating smarter since I have been working out consistently already.
