I can understand that line of thought so you are saying that theoretically if we never flushed #1 that the world’s water supplies would be larger in the future?

I miss the urine troughs at Fenway Park.  Those were no flush, and thus way ahead of their time.

I don't have a problem with the waterless urinals. No problem at all.

I am a yellow sock runner.  And I use the same environmentally sound method as Yaya, as does my dog.

But it is all fair game in the pool as long as you shower first.

I'm talking about the current hybrid vehicles as a whole. I am a smog tech and I also worked for Toyota and other auto manufactures dealing specifically with hybrids. The life expectancy of a hybrid battery is less than that of an ICE (Internal Combustion engine) in the real world and not just what is reported. The cost to replace the battery is more expensive then replacing an ICE. From what I have seen firsthand people keep a normal ICE vehicle longer then a hybrid being that once the warrantee if up the cost of maintenance is WAY more expensive to the consumer. I have personally seen ALLOT of the high voltage batteries be replaced. Once out they are not being recycled or reused in some other way were the ICE's are being recycled or reused.

As for SMOG it is created in an ICE when the temperatures in the cylinder head exceed 2500° and Nitrogen oxide (NOx) is created. When NOx mixes with sunlight in the atmosphere SMOG is created. Newer vehicle produce zero NOx while at idle so no smog. Hybrids mix a small ICE with an electronic motor to achieve an environmentally friendly vehicle for while at an idle or below 20 mph. The catch is Hybrids are heavier than their counterparts and mixed with the low power motors they have to work harder to achieve power under a heavy load like passing on the freeway for example. During these times they actually emit higher amounts of NOx then their counterparts.

The propaganda on the little sticker above our urinals says that every "no flush" urinal saves 40,000 gallons of water per year.  That figure seems high to me, but i suppose it is highly dependent on the location of the bathroom.

Not necessarily.  The Uric Acid in urine is not very hospitable.  And frankly, WITH flushing, you dilute the acid, therefore making it worse. 

And how long have been out of the prison?

I saw one in a movie once..... terrible lighting, it was quite dreadful actually.
