Yes. Into a Betty Crocker chocolate cake. Just two scoops of chocolate whey protein. Couldn't really tell any difference

Some good recipes here.

You can add protein to lots of things. But thats not the point. The point is to substitute the bad stuff with protein. Putting a few scoops of protein into a gallon of ice cream doesn't make it good for you. I'm done ranting

cake mix...what is that... I was raised w/ my mom cooking cakes from scratch...  Cake mixes give me indigestion.  It is all in the correct flour, butter and eggs at room temp and having a good mixer like a kitchenaid..yea it will cost $200 - $300 for a good one.

I do add protein powder to a lot of things..including brownies, muffins, etc  I even add protein powder to peanut butter and just eat that when I'm dieting (carb depletion state)

it's a rare occasion, cake. no worries.

your liver does not contain the enzymes to break down this artificial cake mix so it is permanent fat. Making your own cake mix is not hard, the key to remember, butter is love - margaraine/shortening is murder

I've seen beer with protein added. I'm sure a cake mix can't hurt.

What??  I missed that in all my physiology classes.  Did that come for Dr. Oz or Dr. Google ?

Back to the original thread.  I'd just make the cupcakes...no worries if these indulgences are in moderation!
