Anyone have the good kind of hangover from Valentine's Day? Well, if bad, or if not, today's still Hump Day

What's on tap, sportsfans?

1-hour run for me (insanely hot/humid conditions, even close to sunset ... not a speck of wind and no evaporation)

20 minutes with dryland swim cords. I think that was worse!

But it's all good, and fun.

No Valentine, so no hangover (unless you count slightly tired legs from yesterday's Jorge sufferfest). One more reason why I really should change my BT name to Beyond Pathetic. (Then you could be Hot Runner instead--it's not about speed, but temps!)  Also a one-hour run for me this evening. Very hot and humid here too, but breezy after sunset. Starting to panic about race Sunday--it's just a 750 swim and 5K run.  And I've managed to talk myself into the elite wave--it's starting to sink in that maybe that wasn't too bright--the race is so short that I could, conceivably, end up DFL. Trying to channel the ghosts of fast 5K's past!

Good morning!  I have a sugar hangover, that's about it. Starting detox today!

3:50am (yes, that's right) 14 mile run, some parts felt great, some not so much, but it is done for the day! Whaaaa-hooo!

Happy Hump Day!

7 miles on the treadmill this morning watching the sun rise.

I had trouble getting to sleep last night (not valentines day related) so I took an ambien.  Woke up groggy with an "ambien hangover."

Holy moly, 3:50 am. Wow, that is some kind of early.

3 miler tonight, slow and steady. I'll probably go longer, but I'll have to see if work gets in the way.

Too much to eat yesterday.

5.4 mile run this morning at 4:30am, roads had spots of black ice which I wasn't expecting.  I would of worn spikes, checked the weather on the internet and it said the temperature was 36 degrees.  Car said 28 when I left for work at 5:45.   Maybe on the trainer tonight.

Still feeling the bug.   Don't feel that great.   Will swim this afternoon and hopefull feel better.    No races this weekend but the high school soccer season kicks off tomorrow.    Can I count those games as training?   It does substitute well for speed work.

Greetings!  Slept late again last night ughhh!  Squeezed in a 30 minute ride on the trainer this morning in low Z2.  Cold and rainy here right now so I'll go to the pool for a 1900 yard swim and push 5.6 mile run to tmw night.  =)

There was a bit of a hangover this morning, but the forecast called for perfect weather. Rehydrate!! Two rides today, a fast 10 miles on the road at lunch time, then 8 miles in the woods on the mountain bike this afternoon. My legs are sore! Feels Good.

Awesome OWS squad - 3km in the bay - weather 33 degrees C 91F!!!  No wind to speak of.  480m warm up, then 1km race, then sets of 150m races with 99 other squad members - brutal I loved it!

Breakthrough day for me running today!

Did 45 minutes on the trainer this morning, then 3250 swim after lunch.  Then got home and for some reason felt like a run, went out and did 3.5 miles at 8:07 avg, which is absurd fast for me.  I'm generally a 1 hour 10k runner, just did my HM PR at 2:00:59.

Began the day with a 10k run in Tokyo, followed by some core work in the comfort of my hotel room, and finishing with a long swim in Los Angeles (thanks to the manager at the local Golds Gym who comped me a day pass). Lessons learned: (1) jog on the right in Japan, and (2) two-a-days are much easier to fit in when changing time zones gives you a 41-hour day.
