Dances With Wolves and Close Encounters of the Third Kind were filmed in my home state and Children of the Corn was not.

Yet that's what we get? I am sad now.

I think it's based on "set in" rather than "filmed in."  So Nebraska's gotta own Children of the Corn.

But I noticed a couple of other oddities:

1.  No CT, DE or RI (or AK or HI)

2.  NH and VT are lumped together, with a film set in MA.

the only movie i know of filmed in CT was the newer version of Stepford wives, the used the Merritt parkway and a few of the mansions in the Norwalk Mansion District for the mansion scenes.
