Need some more info. How long have you been trying to ride in the new position since the fit? Where's the pain in your neck? Does it start right away or does it settle in over a long period of time (how long)?

If riding in aero is new for you expect it to take some time to get used to.  I would ease into using the aero position and be sure to stretch/massage/heat your neck to keep it loose.

This is likely just a matter of getting used to the new position. I went through it last summer and am going through it all over again with my new ride as i spent the winter on my more relaxed road bike with clip ons. Kinda sucks but it will come

The head is actually prety heavy @ about 10lbs.  and there are relativly small muscles holding it up in aero.  those muscles are used to holding the head steady in an upright semi balanced position.    The more aggresive the position, the more stess on those muscles.

this time of the year is when us up north start hitting the aerobars after months of riding upright on trainers.  My neck hurt a bit after todays ride too.  I just have to get those neck muscles stong again.
