Anyone know a website where I could find any group hosting an openwater swim?

Muncie will start in ?April....go to their website and join the team.  Also, TJ Tryon does group OWS every week (I think Wednesdays) at Morse...that's closer to you.

Please let us know what you hear back. I'd love to find some open swims to join, but I have a pretty limited schedule. I've registered for a couple of tris specifically because I needed the open water swim experience.

I live on a small lake in the Keystone Indianapolis area. You are more than welcome to swim off our dock. If it is warm enough I will jump in with you.

Get ahold of a guy named Dick Sidner. He is running the show for those Planet Adventure swims. I believe his contact info can be found on the Planet Adventure website. He heads up a group that swims in Morse lake every weekend. There are some folks from that group who are already swimming.

Boy, I was planning on getting a OWS practice in this weekend with Muncie only a couple weeks away.  But I'm thinking the lakes up here in NWI are not quite warm enough and the weather this weekend is going to be lousy.

Not sure if you would be interested in a OWS competion, but we hold the Warsaw Aqua Mile in June at Pike Lake in Warsaw on June 9th. This will be the second year for the event.

here is the website: http://centerlakewarsaw.com/rooms.html
