I'm going to hit the open water after work Thurs night. Anytime after 4:00 works for me. Anyone???

Directions From Hartford:
RT. 2 east to exit 12(Marlborough). Straight off the exit ramp for about 1/2 mile. Turn left onto Park road. Park at Blish Park which is 1/4 mile up Park road on the right.

Rob,

I will watch u from my deck and say what a nut you are for being in that cold water!! Oh did I tell you that the snapping turtles and Sharks feed when the water starts to warm .

Have a great time I am gonna hold off for another week or so looks like we will get some 80+ degreee weather and that should do the trick...have fun...

If only I could get out of work I'd join you for a swim in that cold, cold water.    One of the few times that having a job that precludes me from getting out in time to join you is a good thing.

ATTENTION all LAke T Swimmers:

It is official there is a large bird of Prey living in my yard! Yep, a BAld Eagle was perched in a tree last night and he dove hard into the lake and left with his dinner! Really incredible stuff. Next time I will take photos.

This thing hit the lake hard it was incredible the sound it made. Really amazing to watch.

So for those of you "brave" folk swimming this weekend add Hungry Vicious Bald Eagles to the list of potential dangers including but not limited to: snapping turtles and huge man eating catfish! Not to mention it was approximately 40 degrees last night so it is COLD!

I say Lake T could be considered the Alcatraz swim of the east! All they have is some 7 gill sharks and a mild current. We have large birds of prey who are picking swimmers out of the water!

Anyway, have fun out there friday night!

Seth

--I wonder what other creatures I can find by friday?
