Expert  929    Austin |  Subject: Orlando Lap Pool and Running RoutesI will be in Orlando (Disney area) on business 4/22 - 4/27. I will not have a car. Looking for a pool/lake for some swimming and places to run or people to run with. Any suggestions? |

Member 127 Orlando | Subject: RE: Orlando Lap Pool and Running Routes The Central Florida Tri Club swims Monday, Wednesday, Friday at the YMCA Aquatic Center on International Drive which is about 5 minutes from the Disney Area. There is also Lucky's Lake Swim which is about 10 minutes from the Disney Area which is daily at 6:30am on Weekdays and 7:45 on weekends. |

If you can get over to the Swan/Dolphin, there's a nice 0.9 mi loop around the Boardwalk, Yacht/Beach club. Also, fort wilderness has a trail over there too which is nice. Upon checkout last time i was there I found a slip saying that you can go to the front desk and ask for a map of some running routes. Darn. Wish I would have done that instead of running around my hotel. |

| 369 | Subject: RE: Orlando Lap Pool and Running Routes If you are staying at a Disney resort, they have buses that run between the parks and resorts. You'd probably have to catch a bus from your resort to a park, then catch another from the park to the other resort as they don't run from resort to resort. If you're at a resort near Downtown Disney, you can catch buses there too. |
