I will be in Orlando (Disney area) on business 4/22 -  4/27.  I will not have a car.  Looking for a pool/lake for some swimming and places to run or people to run with.

Any suggestions?

The Central Florida Tri Club swims Monday, Wednesday, Friday at the YMCA Aquatic Center on International Drive which is about 5 minutes from the Disney Area.

There is also Lucky's Lake Swim which is about 10 minutes from the Disney Area which is daily at 6:30am on Weekdays and 7:45 on weekends.

Thanks.  That sounds perfect, however it's still 10 miles away without a car or bike and I have to work a set schedule Cry How's the bus system there?

Are you on Disney property?  The Swan and Dolphin hotel has a lap pool.  I don't know the policy regarding letting other disney hotels' guests use the pool.

Disney has a bunch of trails and running routes. If you can get over to the Swan/Dolphin, there's a nice 0.9 mi loop around the Boardwalk, Yacht/Beach club. Also, fort wilderness has a trail over there too which is nice.

Upon checkout last time i was there I found a slip saying that you can go to the front desk and ask for a map of some running routes. Darn. Wish I would have done that instead of running around my hotel.

If you are staying at a Disney resort, they have buses that run between the parks and resorts.  You'd probably have to catch a bus from your resort to a park, then catch another from the park to the other resort as they don't run from resort to resort.  If you're at a resort near Downtown Disney, you can catch buses there too.
