Subject: RE: Where To Live?Hi Sean, Welcome to Merrimack Valley! All the towns that you mentioned have good biking and are easy to get to. Out of those towns I would recommend Acton. There is a lot of good biking in Concord and Stow. And a lot of bikers around. In Concord there is also Walden Pond. Good of OWS, no motor boats and warm because it's not too deep. There is also a Master Swim class offered at the Acton/ Boxbrough high school. If you also want some place that has more people and feels like city I highly recommend Lowell. I lived in downtown Lowell for 4 year and it was awesome. Traffic can be a little bad some times, and you have to get out of the city for better biking (which can take 10ish min). One thing I really liked about Lowell was the Good Time Series races during the spring/ summer. Every Tuesday night a 5K race along the river walk. There are about 50 to 150 people per night and it was 10 Bucks a race (cheaper if you singed up for the series). And then every one would head over to the Bar the sponsored the race. Lowell also has good restaurants and bars. Also Lowell is close to RT 3, 495 and 93. And has the commuter rail to get into Boston. Andrew |
