Who's in?

It's gonna be mid 60s to start and be very humid.  Hydrate now my friends,  be careful, and have fun.

I'm in, but getting over a cold.  Probably no PR for me, but still looking forward to it.

I'll be there. I don't think the weather will be all that bad. Better than being in the 80s like it was 5 years ago. But it may be enough of a factor that I don't match my time from last weekend at the Louisville half. My focus is going to be pacing and saving something for the last 3 miles. If it works out, that will be a first for me. I've always crashed at mile 9 becauae I went out too hot.

I'm in and will hopefully be hobbling my way over the finish line. I slightly strained by calf muscle on Tuesday during an easy taper run. I'm so pissed because I've been working so hard on my running this year. Good luck to everyone racing!

The heat got to me much more than I anticipated. I was 2 minutes slower than I'd planed to be at mile 6 and knew there was no way I could make it up. At that point, I decided to give up on hitting any goal times and turned it into an aerobic training run, which meant I was signifiantly slower during the second half of the race. The absence of pain somewhat made up for missing my goals. Ironman Muncie will most likely be much hotter than this, so gotta acclimate...

Ran well to mile 7 then the heat of the track zapped my energy.  Stated walking aid stations and also walked about a mile from 9.5 to 10.5....did not get stomach issues though!  Turned it into a Muncie 70.3 dress rehearsal.  Already knew I wouldn't make it under 2 hours anyway.
