Dayton
Subject: Newbie in Dayton

Hey Ohio!

I am not new to running and swimming but it has been a few years.  I decided to start training for my first tri and I am already addicted. I am planning to do a mini sprint (girls tri too) early in the summer just to get a better feel for the sport.

I am still looking to buy a bike, so all of my training has been indoors (Urban Active).  I do a spinning class 2x/week but am anxious to get on the road.  If anyone know of a good smaller framed used bike, let me know.

Hello and welcome to BT!

As it just so happens, I have both a road bike and a TT bike for sale.  I'm 5'2" so if you are no taller than 5'4" then I might have a bike that will fit you!  I have a Fuji Newest 2.0 and a Cervelo ONE for sale.  PM me for details if you are interested.  (I upgraded to carbon fiber this year so they are priced to go!

South Dayton here - If you need any local info drop me a line - I am assuming UrbanActive in Beavercreek? I know two of the spinning instructors there - they have done triathlons as well.

You might also check out DT3 Multisport, a local triathlon club. I am a member and so are many of the Spin instructors at Urban Active. There are plenty of training opportunities through DT3 and there might be some members who have older bikes to sell. If you are interested, talk to one of the instructors or let me know and we can get you added to our distribution list. Happy Training and welcome to the multisport world!

Be well, Mick
