Charlotte Bike Routes

Here's a ride I did Monday that passes the airport: http://connect.garmin.com/course/1231607.  Here is a very similar route that has an extra hill, but almost the same distance: http://connect.garmin.com/course/1231623.  I ride these in a group, so they seem pretty safe.  You do go through some salty neighborhoods.  These are loops to a bike shop, so you could probably avoid some of the busier streets if you wanted to stick out near the airport.  This should at least give you an idea of some of the good roads right near the airport.  Let me know if you can't open these.

I have never done this group ride but Bicycle Sport (great bike shop in town) has been doing this 60m loop for years and years.  It is probably 45m if you start the route at airport.

Called the Spamerton Ride. 

+1.  I've probably done Spamerton 50+ times.  Very good workout and for the most part the roads are good and traffic is relatively light.
